CoreMessage Promotes Key Staff Member: Carrie Patrick as Director of Advocacy

TALLAHASSEE – CoreMessage Inc., a leading Florida public relations and grassroots advocacy firm, today announced the promotion of a key staff member, Carrie Patrick, from Account Manager to Director of Advocacy.

In her new role, Carrie will be responsible for further enhancing grassroots advocacy and coalition building services for clients and help expand the firm’s issue advocacy capabilities. In addition, Carrie will continue to contribute to public relations campaigns and managing accounts at CoreMessage.

Carrie has more than 14 years of experience in the communications, policy, legislative, state government and private industry arenas. Before joining the CoreMesssage team, Carrie was a lobbyist with a private-sector public affairs firm and was the Director of Legislative Affairs for the Florida Lottery. Previously, Carrie served as grassroots coordinator for Keystone Automotive and worked for Governor Jeb Bush and Governor Charlie Crist promoting their legislative agenda. Additionally, she worked for President George Bush’s and Governor Jeb Bush’s re-election campaigns.

Carrie has a Masters of Applied American Politics and Policy and a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Florida State University.
