Josh Gabel
Josh joined CoreMessage in 2024 and has more than a decade of government affairs, communications and grassroots advocacy experience.
Prior to joining CoreMessage, Josh led government affairs efforts at the Tampa Bay Chamber as their Senior Director of Government Relations, including successfully advocating for the return of more than $256 million back to Hillsborough County for transportation projects. Josh also served as regional director for United States Senator Marco Rubio, where he served as a liaison for the Senator and advocated for his priorities while working with local stakeholders on their issues. Joshua was also the Director of Grassroots Development and Engagement at the Florida Chamber of Commerce and the Communications and External Relations Coordinator at Florida TaxWatch.
Josh has a Bachelors in Political Science and Economics from Florida State University and serves on the Board of Advisors for the Lambda-Iota Chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon, Scholarship Committee for the Tampa Seminole Club and a mentor with FSU’s ProfessioNole Mentors Program since 2020. He has been named a “Rising Star in Politics” by Influence Magazine and was part of Florida Politics’ “30 Under 30” top young professionals in government relations 2016 class.
